The Tuncurry Markets

The Tuncurry markets are conducted by Marine Rescue Forster Tuncurry normally on the fourth Saturday of each month. Please check the dates below for any exceptions.

The markets are held in a wonderful harbourside atmosphere at John Wright Park Tuncurry, from 8am to 1pm, and features a BBQ cooked by Marine Rescue members and providing the likes of bacon and egg rolls, steak sandwiches and sausage sandwiches along with soft drinks and cold water.
With a large variety of stalls, this is perhaps the largest market in the Great Lakes area both in area and in the number of stall holders and is certainly a “main event” for the Forster Tuncurry community and tourist visitors.

January 3rd (extra market), January 24th, February 28th, March 28th, April 18th, May 23rd, June 27th, July 25th, August 22nd, September 26th, October 24th, November 28th, December 12th (2nd Saturday of the month).

New Stall Holders should read and complete the Application, Conditions and Code of Conduct Form available below. Please direct all enquiries to our Market Stallholder Coordinator listed above.
New stall holders are required to obtain Public Liability Insurance, a copy of which is handed to our Market Security Officer on arrival
Stalls sizes are approximately 4x4 metres
MARKET CANCELLATION for any reason, is generally communicated via TEXT message, by 6am on the day of a Market. In the event of adverse weather forecasts we may cancel earlier. Multiple methods of communication may be used including local radio,(2RE 100FM and Great Lakes Radio on 101.5 FM), Facebook, Text, phone and email or contact the Marine Rescue Forster Tuncurry Base on 5556 1600 or the Market Coordinator 0417400994.
